MAAS SYLVIA (MIHALICH) Born July 10, 1929, of Oak Run Country Club and formerly of St. Clair Shores, Michigan, passed away peacefully at Hospice in Ocala, Florida on December 6, 2012 after a courageous battle with heart disease. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 64 years, Robert W. Maas along with daughter, Peggy (Paul) Herwick, Los Angeles, California, and son, Robert Maas, Atlanta, Georgia. We will miss her dearly and are thankful for her love and guidance and promise to carry that on. Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Stephen and Mary Mihalich of MI along with her brother Thomas Mihalich, grandson Andrew Maas and nephew Stephen K. Mihalich. Sylvia also leaves behind her loving brother Dr. Stephen (Nina) Mihalich of Bingham Farms, MI and nieces Carrie and Amy. Her request of private cremation and no memorial service will be respected.
