My true friend since college will always remain in my memories and my heart. I was a better person because of our relationship. Thank-you.
Mr. McCleary will be missed. His jokes were the best. He was a very kind and caring person. Rest in Peace.
Rich was in the 1965 pledge class atThe University of Iowa and I had the pleasure of being that pledge class' "pledge trainer" and Rich was in that class. We affectionately called him Rich "Barf" McCleary but to this day I don't know where the nickname came from nor when it evolved. After hearing of his passing I found my pledge trainer paddle given to me from that 1965 pledge class. Rich's name appeared on that paddle and I am grateful for having gotten close to Rich during that pledgeship. My condolences to his family. Sincerely, Russ Sumka Iowa Beta 1967.
The Mystery of Time There is an occasion foreverything and a time for every acivity under heaven: a time to give bith and a time to die; a time to plant and a time to uproot; a time to kill and a time to heal; a time to tear down and a time to build; a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance; a time to throw stones and a time to gather stones; a time to embrace and a time to avoid embracing; a time to search and a time to count as lost; a time to keep and a time to throw away; a time to tear and a time to sew; a time to be silent and a time to speak; a time to love and a time to hate; a time for war and a time for peace. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
