BOMMARITO JAMES V. On December 13, 2012 at the age of 95, James went to join his loving wife and daughter in the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. Beloved husband of the late Pauline. Loving father of Ida (James) Daugherty, John, Joseph (Carol) and the late Josephine (Andy) Wenturine. Proud grandfather of 18 and great grandfather of 53 and great great grandfather of eight. Dearest brother of Rose Zappa, Sam (Ann) Cucinella, Peter Cucinella and was predeceased by Angelo Bommarito, John Bommarito, Gasper Cucinella, Tony Cucinella and Joe Cucinella. James was the longtime president of AFSME Local 116 and was a retired Wayne County Sheriff. Visitation Saturday 3-9pm, Sunday 1-9pm and Monday 10:00am until time of 11:00am Funeral Service at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc., 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile).
