To our dearest extended family, Our hearts mourn with you and our faith celebrates his life with you. What a legacy of cherished love and faith he set within your circle of love that has been closed to no one in your presence. For he truly was not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ. Although we mourn, we mourn not as the world mourns, but we mourn with the great hope and promises of our Lord bestowed to every believer. May you be comforted greatly by the presence of The Holy Spirit, King of Kings, and Father in knowing that He shall not tarry much longer, but soon all shall be reunited at the sound of that great trump and the sound of His voice to be forever more in His presence for eternity. Soon and very soon we are going to see the King, our beloved, and our loved ones who have passed on before us. What a joy that day will bring. Therefore we celebrate his life knowing that the Lord is not a man that He should lie, that His promises are true, and that His Words do not return unto Him void. May our tears be comforted with our Lord and Saviour's promises at this time and in the coming days ahead. With much Love and Prayer, Jeannine Wells-Smith and Family
James precious life has passed from our sight but never from our fond memories and hearts. I have been blessed to know James and his devoted wife Geretha for over five decades and will miss him.
“Baby James” Mosby was a long-time friend since elementary school. We used to shoot marbles and play cowboys, etc. Over the past 3 years, we spoke over the phone almost daily about any and everything. He often referred to himself as “Billy Bob” Mosby. I’ll miss him dearly. My heart felt sympathies go out to his family … wife Geretha, children Tracy, Courtney and Gregory and his brother Carlton.
Mose as we who new hm best called him, was a tremendously gifted man. I feel a real loss in his passing although I am sure he is at peace with his Savior. I am a better man for having shared a part of his life at U of D. I will always remember his friendly demeanor and his genuine friendship. I trust that all will remember him for all the pleasant times we shared together as classmates. Jim hayes

When I heard about the passing of "Baby James", I immediately began to think about the fun we had at Liberty Park School, Ruffner Jr. High, Booker T High, Camp E.W.Young, The Ambassadors, Tau Beta Sigma and at his house in Liberty Park.
