MARENTETTE JOANNE AGNES 73, of Sarasota, Florida, died December 28, 2012. She was born in Pontiac, Michigan and moved to Sarasota from Northville, MI. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed genealogy. She is survived by her husband, Dick; sons, Rich Marentette of Northville, MI, Tom Marentette of South Bend, Indiana; a daughter, Ann M. Martin of Doylestown, Pennsylvania; brothers Bill Anderson of Novi, MI, Bob Anderson of Ann Arbor, MI; a sister, Jeannie Milliken of Colorado; grandchildren, Sarah, Elizabeth and Olivia; and one great-grandchild, Liam. Wiegand Brothers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A private interment will be at Sarasota National Cemetery. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 5 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. A memorial service will be held in Michigan at a later date.

Joanne was a wonderful person. We shared many laughs and wonderful times together. She was always very supportive and helpful when we needed her. Her knowledge, kindness, and sympathy were inspirational and she will always have a big part of my life. I love you always nana!
