I worked for BJ at the Shell Plant in St. Louis in the late 60's as a GF and again at The Detroit Forge in the 70's. My condolences to his family. He was a gentleman, a good leader, a fair man to work for, he provided opportunities to me for which I will always remember him fondly. I am sorry to read of his passing and wish his family well.
To the family of Bernard we are so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time.
Jerry had a significant influence on my GM career and his forward planning contributed much to GM. I wish his family well.
BJ was my mentor and a great friend. He was my boss at the Bay City Chevy Plant. Our sincerest sympathy to his family, Don & Marilyn Mueller (Rose City, MI & Naples, Fl.)
Very sorry for your loss, our thoughts and prayers are with all the family. He will rest in peace with his beloved Eileen. Ken and Laura Bowles
I worked for Jerry during his entire tenure at Chevrolet Detroit Forge. He was by far the the best role model I ever worked with or for in my career at G.M. I am truly sorry for your loss and you should know that a loss is felt by many of us that knew him.
Jerry's tenure at Chevy Detroit Forge did more for the rejuvenation of plant & facilities than anyone. Detroit could use more like him now!
