CONROY BROTHER RICHARD C., S.J., January 5, 2013, age 80. A Jesuit for over 59 years, Brother Conroy served most of his career in the Detroit area, and also served at St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland from 1962-1964 and 1988-1994. Dear brother of Marie Gannon, Robert and Charles T. Conroy, and the late Joseph F., Jr., Edward V., Leo F., William T., Gerald, and Lawrence Conroy, Alice Hayes and Rose Meisetz. In State Thursday 4-7 p.m. at Colombiere Center, 9075 Big Lake Road, Clarkston, with Prayers at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass Friday 10:45 a.m. at Colombiere. Brother Conroy was one of the perks of my being on the faculty at UDJHS. He made wonderful soup that fed our bodies and our spirits and was always a cheerful and gifted companion on our life's journey. Blessings! and thanks for a life well-lived
