ARNOLD RAY  FULLER

FULLER ARNOLD RAY "ARNIE", age 76, of West Bloomfield Twp., passed away on Friday, January 18, 2013, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on August 23, 1936 in Huntington, West Virginia. After graduating from Huntington High he joined The United States Air Force, served on active duty for 12 years, and continued in the USAF Reserves for an additional 8 years, retiring as a Master Sergeant. Following his years of service, Arnie worked at a paper mill in Wisconsin and became Union President. After retiring from the paper mill, he worked in the jewelry business until 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, Geneva and Raymond Fuller. He was the younger brother of Dorothy ( Jim) Martin. Arnie had two daughters from a previous marriage, Sandie and Carole Fuller. Arnie is survived by his beloved wife of twenty-six years, Ruthie Fuller. In addition to his wife, he leaves children Allan, Denise, Brian (Barbara), and Dawn Light; grandchildren Katie and Jessie Merrill, Rachel, Sarah, Jordan, Hannah, Naomi, Simone, and Jake Light; great-granddaughter Abby Habeck. He will also be missed by many loving family members, friends, and his two special cats, Farabee and Roxy. Arnie's warmth, sensitivity, and his kind-hearted nature endeared him to all. Charitable donations may be sent to food banks and animal shelters. A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 27, 12:00 pm, at the Fuller residence, 5838 Shillingham Dr., West Bloomfield, MI 48322. A graveside military service will be held the following Saturday, February 2, 10:00 am, Neal Cemetery, near Mudsock, OH.
