I was blessed to know Karen, having met her thru her dear friend Pat. We were a small group of 4 I named the Yaya Sisters after the movie. She was fun to be around, I loved her laugh and her famous expression, "Oh for God Sake". I lost my sister to lung cancer 8 months to the day before Karen. The two of them shared a common bond, not one any of us would care to share. I prayed Karen would be spared and be with us a whole lot longer. Apparently I did not pray hard enough. I am going to miss my friend but will always cherish good memories. I hope you find that lucky slot machine up there Karen.

Dearest Sister, We became sisters by chance but remained sisters by choice. Every time I eat a tuna salad sandwich I will remember all of the times we ate them together. Will miss you forever!
