CELESTE DOROTHY FLORENCE Born February 6, 1918. Age 95. Died Saturday, February 9, 2013, in her residence, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Dorothy was preceded in death by husband George D. Schmidt and second husband Charles Celeste. Dorothy was a beloved sister, wife, mother, stepmother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, great-aunt and dear friend and will be sorely missed for her quiet, gentle love and caring. She was an active member of the Redford Senior Community. Private funeral services will be held. A devout catholic, a memorial mass will be held at Our Lady of Loretto, on Saturday, February 16th at 11:30 a.m. Donations can be made in Dorothy's name to Notre Dame Academy in Toledo, Ohio, Hospice of Michigan or a charity of your choice.
