SOCIA MARY THERESA "TERRY" Age 86. February 22, 2013. Wife of the late Al Dirnberger and the late Richard Socia. Loving mother of Diane (Lee) McCorkle, Dawn Jackson, and David (Lynn), Dirnberger. Dearest grandmother of Benjamin (Jennifer) Korman, Nicole (Darren) Marshall, Chrystal Liebold, Candace Liebold, Heidi (Mike) Piccirillo, and Anton Dirnberger, and great- grandmother of Amelia Marshall. Dear sister of Clayton (Terry) Jackson, Mary Ellen (Peter) Maniaci, Angela (Joe) Weaver, the late Colleen (Patrick) Giffer, the late Virginia Jackson, and the late John Jackson. Also survived by her loving companion Frank Schuch and her many loving nieces and nephews. She will be remembered as someone who was a good friend to many people and honored those numerous friendships until the very end. Visitation Sunday 2-8 p.m. with prayers 7 p.m. at Chas. Verheyden Funeral Home, Inc., 16300 Mack Ave., Grosse Pointe Park. Funeral Monday, in state 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass 10 a.m. at the St. Bonaventure Monastery, 1740 Mt. Elliott, Detroit.
