LIECKFIELD ROSEMARY Age 84, passed away on February 23, 2013. She was born on April 9, 1928, the second child of Rudolph and Lodovica Galopin. Rosemary was married to her husband of 65 years, Ralph Henry Lieckfield on September 6, 1947, who survives. Rosemary loved being a wife and mother which was the focal point of her life. She also loved music and blessed others with her beautiful voice as a member of church choirs and community variety shows. Rosemary saw the best in everyone around her and always had a smile and kind word for others. In addition to her husband, Ralph, she is survived by her children, Carol (Brooks) Simpson, Ralph (Joellen) Lieckfield, Gordon Lieckfield; grandchildren Kristina Simpson, John (Anne) Simpson, Amy Lieckfield, Ralph D. Lieckfield; brother John (Joan) Galopin; and several nieces and nephews. Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents; mother and father-in-law Edwin and Agnes Lieckfield; sister Mary Heise; sister-in-law Janet Lieckfield; brothers-in-law Tom Heise, Edwin Lieckfield, and Robert Lieckfield Sr. The family will gather with friends on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service 1:00 p.m. at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Alzheimer's Association, St Joseph Livingston Hospice or their charity of choice.
