Gerry, your shoes will never be filled. You are a very special man that will be sorely missed. Coming to work and knowing that you won't be next door to run over and joke and laugh will be very hard. At least my teeth will be a reminder of you everyday, thank you for taking care of me and thank you for being my friend. Love Leslie

There are only a few people in my life outside of my immediate family whom I think of in very high regard for friendship and integrity. Dr. Shimora was my Dentist for about 25 years. He saw my two boys through to adulthood. We chatted about his sport of golf, joking about orange balls in the winter. He took genuine interest in the accomplishments of my wife and sons, always inquiring about the latest. Conversations with him spanned years, like doing laps in the swim pool in which the conversation stops and starts on the clock as other things got done. He was a remarkable kind person. We will all feel a void with his departure. I will miss him. My very best wishes for all whom are left behind.
