I traveled with Ed Kuhn on one of his 30+ trips across Canada and on to Alaska - he was one of my mentors in Education (the other two are Helen Corbeil and Edward Brayton. Another young man and fellow traveler, Drew went with us on that trip. He made electronic contact with me asking about Mr. Kuhn. Ed was a GIVER, he gave opportunity and hope to so many young people and for that I am grateful. That three weeks was an adventure of a LifeTime - Thank you - Sparky!!!!! Does anyone in his family or who went on the trips remember Mr. Kuhn's Dance??? The words he shared with all of us are words I pass on to others in his name: "Believe in yourself, you have the right to succeed." - Edward J. Kuhn What a great resting with his creator!

I went with Mr. Kuhn to Alaska and it was one of the best memories of my youth. I hope he and this trip impacted the others as it did me! I went with his 1981 group. I've been thinking about the trip a lot and happened to Google his name and sadly found this page. Coincidentally, I recently found my journal from the trip and I scanned in my photos so I've been posting photos and text each day as it happened 32 years ago (i.e. I'm writing what happened July 16, 1981); I'm currently on Day 16 of the 21 day trip and will continue to do so for the next week
