KNITTEL JILL 53, of Ypsilanti, passed away December 29, 2013 after a heroic battle with breast cancer. She was born to the late Jack Laut and Stella Laut on April 26, 1959 in Wayne, MI. She graduated from Garden City High School and was married to Dennis Knittel in August of 1986. Jill's passions included nutritional therapy, softball, exercise, and spending happy times with her extended family. She founded the interior design business Rags to Riches and later opened the design Store, Embellish, in Tecumseh, MI. She also in earlier days had her own cable aerobics show Jill's Body Shop. She is survived by her loving daughters Devan Rae Knittel of Scottsdale, Arizona and Jesse Drew Knittel; and her siblings Steve Laut , Paul Laut, Jackie D'Anna, Yvonne Threet, and Sharlene Mascarello. A Memorial service for Jill will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday April 5 at Huron Hills Church in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
