I am a retired Dearborn teacher who now lives in South Carolina. I happened across this notice and am wondering if this is the Pete Boyar who worked in the Dearborn Public Schools also. If so, I would like to make a tribute to him on behalf of my adult children. I knew him well and thought the world of him too. My children, however, loved seeing him every day as their bus driver. He was so friendly and caring. My children called him "Uncle Pete". I think that was an honor to him. He was a man who loved his work with kids. If this is not the same man of whom I speak, please accept my sincere condolences on your loss. My email is if you care to respond.
