Dear Joanne and husband, Dave recently passed and is sorely missed...take one day at a time...recall ALL the good times, and some of the "tuff" times, for then and only then Virgil becomes...a real person as he was in life and is now in death. I'll recall the fun times we had, when he was part of the Fordson '51 reunion committee...and as a classmate. "As I think of my loss, the strands of grief & memory & hope are mysteriously braided together". God Bless you with strength in the days ahead. Warm thoughts & Sincere Sympathy. Fil

Dearest Susan and Family, I am deeply saddened to hear about the loss of your father. When you think of your dad just look in the mirror and you will see him in your reflection as you are his daughter and he has helped to create you to be the wondeful woman you are today. Hugs, Nora

I enjoyed knowing Virgil very much. We worked together - he at TCSH and I at TBA with some memorable kids. We appreciated his efforts that resulted in our son's scholarship to MSU. My sympathies to Joanne and family.

I'm sorry hear that and I still miss him he was like father and he always taught me how to build a deck and other things and it me makes me real sad I want to cry.

It is true that the good die too young. Virgil was as good a friend to teachers and teaching as there could have been! Virg also had the best odd job slogan I ever heard (Get decked by Virg). Rest easy my friend.
