HENRY, RICHARD C. Pinckney, MI His Legacy… Richard C. Henry, age 60, of Pinckney, MI passed away Aug. 17, 2014. He was born March 18, 1954 to Shirley Bronson and Shirley Eleanor (Buffington) Henry, in Brighton MI. Richard served as an altar boy, at St. Norbert Catholic Church, in Inkster, MI. He enjoyed playing football for Cherry Hill High School, and went on to attend college at Eastern Michigan University. Richard was an accomplished Graphic Artist for 50+ years. He enjoyed sailing, football, and baseball. He could be seen almost nightly, enjoying a peaceful pontoon boat ride. Richard was a quiet spoken person with many friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. His Family… Richard leaves behind his longtime companion, Jill Utecht; mother, Shirley Eleanore Henry; children, Amanda (Jon) Hudick of Flat Rock, MI, Shannon Henry of New Boston, MI, and Desiree Henry of New Boston, MI; siblings, Steven (Pamela) Henry, Julianne (Michael) Shea, Mary K. (Russell) Keinath, Monica (Jim) Gorecki, and Annette (Gard) Adams. He is preceded in death by his father, Shirley Bronson Henry, in 1994. His Farewell… Family and friends will gather for his Healing Farewell, Sat., Aug. 23, 2014, 10am-2:30pm, at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. Pastor Steven Skiba will officiate. Burial to follow at Mt. Olivet, in Howell, MI. Memorial contributions are suggested to the family for future designation.
